Austin Barrett was raised in Bristol, Tennessee - the birthplace of Country Music - and it certainly shows in his debut single release - Southbound Now. Barrett began his musical journey at the young age of 6 on the Acoustic Guitar, but later would switch to Electric to follow in the footsteps of his Blues / Rock heroes like Stevie Ray Vaughan and B.B. King. Nowadays his vast experience and knowledge of the music world is clear in his songwriting - with clear, concise, and soulful lyrics and vocal lines.
