Callum

The upcoming voice of UK Hip Hop. 
 Described as a ‘lyrical charmer’ by ANR Factory, Callum aims to bring his musical inspirations to light, adding a twist of his own creativity to each song he’s working on. ‘His love for lyrics that are more true-to-life than most, shows he is a rapper to watch in 2020’, according to Fab UK Music. 
 From a young age Callum was a lover of a wide range of music, from jazz to soul to funk to hard rock, Callum eventually gravitated towards hip-hop artists like Jay-Z and Kanye West but not without acknowledging where the samples of such tracks as Otis had originated from and the importance of each element of a great song. 
 He eventually began writing his own music from the age of 15. His music teacher took a particular interest in his understanding of complex musical theory without any prior teachings. 
 As time went on, Callum began getting more involved in the lyrical aspects of song writing. Taking a particular likening to Hip Hop Rappers such as Earl Sweatshirt, Mac Miller & J.Cole, Callum began writing his own raps and recording them to instrumentals he had found over the internet. 
 Fast Forward to present day, Callum has created a plethora of songs using such platforms as Soundcloud to publish his work. He is continuously working to evolve his sound, with a focus on his fan base ‘growing with him’ in a musical context.
