Daniel Desorcy

Daniel learned to play guitar on his grandfather's weathered acoustic guitar and wrote his first song at the the age 7. Fast forward 15 years and Daniel is now considered one of Manitoba’s brightest rising Country stars. After hearing his soulful tenor voice and seeing one of his confident performances, it’s easy understand why the French / Metis singer songwriter from La Broquerie Manitoba, Canada, was named the MCMA “Emerging Artist of the Year” in 2021 and nominated for Male Artist of the Year in 2023. Daniel’s debut singles went to #2 and # 1 on the Indigenous Music Countdown. He recently signed with Atomic Ranch / Warner Music Canada. His first single on the label “So This Is What It’s Like” - is a Country/Soul gem that was released Sept of 2023, went to #1 on the IMCountdown and received significant airplay on Sirius XM Indigiverse.
