Disfigured Corpse

In the beginning of 90-ies, extreme metal like death/grindcore was bubbling everywhere. DISFIGURED CORPSDE were formed in July 1991. They belongs to the first wave of extreme metal in Czech Republic. Togehter with bands like (KRABATHOR, PATHOLOGIST, TOTAL DEATH, MALIGNANT TUMOUR, FLESHLESS, MELANCHOLY PESSIMISM, TORTHARRY), pushed music to the extreme by their own way. Mixture of death metal and grindcore and later also some hardcore, crust touches. With name DISFIGURED CORPSE you migh think the lyrics will be gore/splatter orientated, nope! The topics always been circling around the everyday struggles, social issues, anti-religion, against fascism/racism, relating to the environment, and also some good taste of ,,black“ humor. We´re disfigured by the system in which we all live. One from the first top gigs was opportunity support DEICIDE and GOREFEST. Later DEATH, BENEDICTION, VADER, HYPOCRISY. Two great euro tours with FLESHLESS, MALIGNANT TUMOUR. Czech and Slovak tours with SINISTER, OBSCENITY, PUNGENT STENCH, HYPNOS, BEHEMOTH. As life goes with ups and downs the same was for band. We broke up several times, priorities changed, but not the passion for music. You could check out the bands where band members were or are still active: DISSOLVING OF PRODIGY, ANTIGOD, DEAD CARNAGE, PRIMARY RESISTANCE, G.O.R.E, PURULENT SPERMCANAL, KHATANO. DISFIGURED CORPSE released six full lenght albums, two splits and one live DVD. And this is not the end... our friends!!!
