Electro pop-alchemist duo LOAD emerged from Basel‘s urban mists in 2018, to discomfort the scene and disarray the rules. Armed with razorsharp synthesizers and cutting-edge guitar force they aim to create their very own cosmos, celebrating both pleasures and pain of the modern spirit without ever forgetting certain retroesque roots. Telling tales of urban melancholy, dark eroticism & religious abstractions, LOAD paints a picture that may be grim at times, but as colorful and vivid as the masks they choose to wear, in order to stay hidden from the stigma of identity, diving head first into the dimensions of LED-wizardry. The single 'Black Knight Satellite', named after the correspondent urban myth, is a mesmerizing pop hymn sucking its listener deep into space, perfectly displaying the duo‘s flair for catchy hooks and skillfully crafted lyrics.
