Locked Illusions

Locked Illusions is a Cape Town based duo that started in 2015, with two best friends brought together by music. With both taking an interest into music from a young age, the duo’s taste has been moulded by two wildly different backgrounds into a complex array of sounds. Siphumle, better known as Sip brings an African approach to the duo finding an interest in genres such as Afro-Tech, Afro-Beats and Techno. Lucas brings to the table a complex mix of House, Minimal and Acid Tech with their first original track being an acid track, Sytrus, released in early 2020. Together the duo brings a new kind of Electronic music that sets the energy of the audience on a cloud-nine journey, with intimate vibrations and consistent grooving. Locked Illusions’s will be sure to keep high pressure on the dance floor at all times.
