The Rocking Horse Music Club emerged from New Hampshire's Rocking Horse Studio in 2018. The group features Brian Coombes (keys/voc), Justin Cohn (voc), Patrik Gochez (voc/gtr/keys), Eric Wagley (drms), Brenden Harisiades (bs), Myron Kibbee (gtr), and Mike McAdam (gtr).
The group’s debut single, Everywhere is Home, a gospel-inspired song that features London’s Sing Gospel Choir, was released in April 2018. The track received prime time airplay on BBC Radio 2. In June 2019, Everywhere is Home received a Best Song – Gospel award from the Independent Music Awards.
The band’s debut album, Every Change of Seasons, was released in September 2018, shortly before they departed for a UK tour that saw them perform throughout the country, including appearances on BBC Radio and a special engagement for the British Prime Minister. NH Magazine hailed the album as “one of the best recordings to come out of New Hampshire in the past year.”
In October 2019, the band released Which Way the Wind Blows, a tribute to original Genesis guitarist Anthony Phillips. The following month, the band traveled to England for two sold out performances at Trading Boundaries in East Sussex.
Circus of Wire Dolls, the band's genre-defying concept album, was released to critical acclaim in September 2022. In its year-end list, ProgRadio.com selected Circus of Wire Dolls as its Album of the Year for 2022. The band, along with special guests, performed the album live at Trading Boundaries in March 2023.
