Simon Cameron Fletcher

SIMON CAMERON FLETCHER is an artist and musician from Toronto and Montreal. His music is best described as “alternative/bedroom pop”. He has shared stages with Condo, COMMUTED and Jordaan Mason. Simon Cameron Fletcher's musical influences include such figures as Animal Collective, Sebadoh, Alex G, and Neutral Milk Hotel. His confessional and often deeply personal lyrics coupled with his complex melodies in alternative tunings vaguely remind listeners of Daniel Johnston and Elliott Smith, both of whom also greatly influence Simon’s prolific body of work. His latest album Cupid Boy received generous radio play on CKUT 90.3 FM (Montreal), CIUT 89.5 FM (Toronto), and WBNY 91.3 FM (Buffalo, NY). Famous Canadian alternative poet and artist bill bissett dubbed it as the greatest album of 2021 and described it as “very avant-garde”.
