Suedejazz Collective

A multicultural collective with members rising from Hong Kong, South Africa, Greece, England to Brazil. Inspired not only by the mixture of the UK/London jazz contemporary scene, but worldwide influences railing from the souls of each of the collective members. Suede collaborates with a range of artists from the London jazz scene. From Hip-Hop artists to Soul singers. Suedejazz Collective also produces their own JAM night at the 91 livingroom, a special jazz venue in bricklane, exploring sound and improvising with the best musicians and artists on the scene. As well as being the house band at N'Calma worldwords, poetry, live music, live paint, exhibitions event at the Hootananny Brixton. Their first single Sunshower, made and released throughout the pandemic times, had many children from various countries singing at the end of the song, also many musicians collaborated sending parts online. For the next batch of songs, they had an intense day recording 15 songs at the Total Refreshment Center, plus 2 years of a long process producing at Luke Pinnell's homestudio. Funded on 2018 by the Brazilian Leandro Pestana, intrigued by mixing together musicians from Guildhall School of Music and Drama, with rappers from The Roundhouse.
